這件明代白玉螭紋方盒形制尤大，為白玉整挖而成，盒蓋盒身同出一體，契合緊密，盒蓋正面雕刻一條螭龍，龍身盤曲，四爪俱利，格外矯健，龍首生獨角，雙目炯炯，口銜一枝靈芝，龍尾則分出捲曲的兩尾，雖寥寥數刀，卻極為精彩地表現出螭龍銜芝之情態。畫面四周裝飾有一圈回文。盒蓋側面一圈以線刻法雕刻出蝙蝠、松枝、靈芝、燕鳥、古磬、竹葉等圖案。盒身與之相呼應，同樣以線刻法雕刻四面，為四季景致，有梔子花、玉蘭花、桃樹以及秋山放鹿等，畫面清雅簡約，饒有生趣。堪稱文房案頭之佳品。 尺寸：6.1×9×9cm，584g
