A Chinese Imperial yellow Peking glass vase, Qing Dynasty , standing on a slightly splayed base encircled by a band of lappets carved in low relief, the ovoid body well carved with a pair of chilong , each rising with curled body, the head turned downwards, a band of pendant stiff leaves encircling the flared neck, 16cm high Provenance: Purchased by the current owner at Sotheby's, London, 12th November, 1979, lot 34, from the collection of Professor P.H. Plesch and Mrs T. Plesch and prior to this it was in the Henrich Collection. It was noted in the Sotheby's catalogue that x-ray fluorescence tests showed high lead content. 清 黄玻璃龙纹小瓶拍品来源: P.H.
