赵朴初（1907-2000）中国佛教学者、居士、中国现代社会活动家。安徽太湖人。幼承家学，勤于文史哲的研习。大学时代开始接触佛学，后遂深入探索佛教各宗哲理教义。20世纪30年代初，曾任中国佛教会秘书、主任秘书，致力于佛教及社会救济事业。1936年参加抗日救亡运动，发起成立中华佛教护国和平会。著作有《滴水集》《片石集》《佛教常识答问》等。
