Ω A Cantonese ivory white and red stained ivory chess set, second half of 19th Century, carved as Chinese figures standing on top of varying sized puzzle balls, with equestrian mounted knights and elephant formed castles, the king approximately 14.5cm high and a Cantonese puzzle ball , 19th century, the outer ball deeply carved and pierced with writhing dragons intertwined with clouds, the stand carved with a figure, 30.5cm high Cites Regulations Please note that this lot (lots marked with the symbol Ω in the printed catalogue) may be subject to CITES regulations when exported from the EU.
