The Buddha statue has a towering bun, decorated with round orbs, with slightly closed eyes, a straight nose, and a smile on its mouth. Wearing a shoulder-length cassock, the pattern of the cassock is trough-shaped, and the pattern of the cassock is decorated with quaint Yin lines. The pleats are distributed in the shape of a U on the chest, and the thighs are like water ripples, which is very peculiar. This is the main feature of the Zhantan statue, and the whole is natural Drooping, the cassock on Zhan Tan Buddha's body is covered with wavy folds. The left hand gives the wish seal, and the right hand shows the fearless seal, standing on a single-layer covered rosette, the rosette is finely carved, and the bottom is decorated with a circle of cursive grass. The gilt is rich and well preserved. 旃檀佛像是佛教歷史上出現的第一尊佛像。據《阿含經》記載，公元前六世紀時，釋迦 牟尼佛將去三十三天為母親說法，人間的優填王請佛陀站在水邊，命工匠照著水中的倒影，用旃檀木雕造了一尊立像。因其最初是用旃檀木雕刻而成，故稱“旃檀佛像”。此件宮廷造像，雍容華穆，佛韻盎然，銅鎏金及雕刻工藝亦屬上乘。佛像髮髻高聳，上 飾圓形寶珠，面龐清秀，雙目微閉，鼻粱高挺，嘴含微笑，神態慈祥，法相莊嚴，富有極強的感染力。身著通肩袈裟，衣紋呈波谷狀，袈裟厚重，袈裟衣紋有古雅的陰線刻紋飾，衣褶在胸前分佈如U字形，大腿上如水波紋，極為奇特，這是旃檀像的主要特徵，整體自然下垂，宛如“曹衣出水”，工藝精細，據傳，當時工匠在觀察佛陀的形象時，發現佛全身發出金色光芒，無法正視，只好看著河裡倒影進行雕刻。水波粼粼，造成了工匠的錯覺，於是旃檀佛身上的袈裟滿佈波浪紋衣褶。左手施與願印，右手施無畏印，立於單層覆蓮座上，蓮座刻工精細，蓮珠粒粒分明，蓮花瓣飽滿立體，下飾卷草紋一周。整器造型獨特，珍稀罕見，體量較大，採用銅鎏金製成，鎏金濃鬱且保存完整，金彩燦爛，風格華麗，富麗堂皇，具有典型的康熙時期宮廷造像特徵，實屬難得。
