Wu Changshuo1844 - 1927Landscape after Shitaoink on paper, hanging scrollsigned, dated 1915, with 5 seals of the artist221 x 70 cm 87 x 27 1/2 in.----------------------------------------------吳昌碩　仿石濤山水水墨紙本 立軸 一九一五年作畫家署簽簽書：倣石師山水。乙卯冬仲，文榮裝竟。款識：飛瀑亂分若電，奇峯叠漢如雲。谿魚歷歷可數，山花忽見忽聞。但能枕石其下，自然香滿衣襟。乙卯涼秋，臨石濤巨幀，三日竟事，並錄原題。七十二叟安吉吳昌碩。鈐印：「俊卿大利」、「昌碩」、「蕪青亭長飯青蕪室主人」、「大聾」、「缶」（鈐於簽條）。 註：山水屬吳昌碩偶為之題材，多出於七十餘歲。本幅題曰「臨石濤巨幀」，石濤原作〈山窗研讀圖〉，上鈐「大千居士供養百石之一」，知屬大風堂舊藏，今歸上海博物館，張大千亦有摹本。本幅高近七呎，較原作更巨，以兩段式佈局，山峰踞上，主景在下，浮嵐居中作分隔，長筆濃墨恣意揮灑，鬱勃之氣迸發。如此巨障，三日即竟事，氣勢如虹。吳昌碩追循石濤之筆墨精神，用墨重，濕氣足，雖忠實對臨原作，因純以書法用筆出之，更具生拙氣，神采煥然。不著色彩，卻因濃墨與留白的强烈對比，明媚如春山之境，青山綠樹，花香可聞，知己凴窗晤談，以雄強之筆，寫閒情幽居，別有一番韻致。221 x 70 cm 87 x 27½ in.品相: Generally in good condition, with slight foxing, light stain on the lower right area, paper tear on the upper right area can be alleviated by restoration.
