神穆德，乾隆间任建威将军、镶红旗都统，宗室。本书是纪录京西名刹潭柘山寺历史的志书，包括主山基宇、梵刹原宗、中兴重建、历代法统、行幸颁赐、名胜古迹等六门。宋体大字，行疏幅广。书前自序云：“然幸旧纪犹存，聊为之约编参定，即可补之，不必俟女蜗也。故留心自任，访得其抄本及别传异记诸文，折衷节取，合编参订以成之，名曰《潭柘山岫云寺志》。”至清光绪九年，释义庵复辑古体诗8首及各代律诗传记，后人又将此与前文合刊。
