无为，别名濡须，安徽省辖县级市。是志于乾隆七年开局纂修，翌年告竣，记事止于乾隆八年。正文分十七门子目七十，首卷为天章，录入与无为无关的所谓圣论等。以八卦编次，分为八部，合二十五卷。是志广稽往迹，博采群书，摭遗补缺，辨疑正讹，考核详明，一万多字的杂记史料丰富。米芾知无为军有三说：元祐间、政和间、熙宁间，但纂者亲考米芾所撰的章吉老基碑，从残碑边发现刻有“政和乙未书”小字，乃确定“政和”之说。不仅如此，还旁证博引论证政和之说乃是确定无疑。还载有米芾遗闻轶事三则，为研究米芾提供了宝贵资料。首收图十幅。
