灵石县，隶属山西省晋中市。隋朝置县至今，已有1400多年的历史，素有“燕冀之御、秦蜀之经”之称。是志嘉庆二十一年夏由王志瀜重修、黄宪臣纂，次年经增补校订后付梓，记事止于二十二年。志瀜，字幼海，陕西华州（今陕西华县）人，嘉庆十四年知灵石县。宪臣，字次皋，南海（今广东佛山）人，后补知县。书分地舆、建置、食货、学校、典礼、武备、职官、选举、人物、古迹、艺文、杂录十二门六十四目，较万历、康熙旧志讹误处详加考证。首有星野图、县城图、学宫图、八景图等十五幅，绘制精美，繁简有致。拍品原装原签，白纸初印。
