榆次县，今为山西省晋中市榆次区。此志为张敬颢修，常麟书等纂。敬颢任县知事后始修，编纂时间长达二十年之久，民国三十年付梓，记事止民国二十六年。内容详实、体例精良被方志界誉为“志林之佳志”，其存史、资政、教化及学术价值均超越前志，为榆次保存了珍贵的地情资料。全书分城市考、生计考、宗教考、礼俗考等凡二十门，下又分六十六目。卷首一册为图考，收县境全图、山脉河流图、县境交通图等十一幅，彩色印制，绘制清晰，比例准确。艺术考为画家、匠人立传。全书排印精整，内文印有红字以作勘误。拍品原装原函，开卷悦目。
