巩县，今为河南省巩义市。是县民国十一年设志局，民国二十一年始成。全志设大事纪、民政，财政、金石、丛载、志例等十四门。是县碑刻繁多，见于著录者仅四分之一，故是志金石门以四卷篇幅详加考订著录，记碑碣所在位置、碑身高宽、碑文书体行款，重要者录其全文，为重要的金石文献资料。人物门收有辛亥武昌起义后参加革命活动者如李心镜、崔德聚、王天杰等人之小传，均可为治河南近代史者参考。目录后刊“县志馆组织大纲”“编辑公约”两篇，亦为研究民国修志制度的稀见资料。拍品缺失卷一，卷十三、十四部分页面为影印页。
