登州府，治蓬莱县，辖境约当今山东省招远、莱西及海阳等市地区。汝翼，河北清苑人，清光绪三年任登莱青兵备道。瑚，山西夏县人，光绪二年任登州知府。是志继乾隆志而修，始修于光绪五年，光绪七年书成梓行。正文分疆域志、营建志、食货志、职官志、选举志、忠节志、艺文志、金石志八门，内辖四十六目。目录前收府城图、备倭城图、莱阳县境图等志图十三幅。此志变更体例，以纲带目，增辑续补，收载丰盈。营建志城池目记载了蓬莱水城的沿革，蓬莱水城为国内现存最完整的古代水军基地，是珍贵的历史文化遗产。艺文志分经、史、子、集四部，蒐集本地历代学者著述甚丰，颇存图书目录之功。拍品行字舒朗，旧装未衬，为首次上拍。
