A Vintage Carved Oak Robert 'Mouseman' Thompson Armchair. The arm bow surmounted by a curved & shaped top rail to the back above pierced panels of carved interlaced strapwork alternated with octagonal baluster posts leading down to a tan leather seat edged with brass studs. The octagonal legs united by an X-frame stretcher and carved with a trademark mouse to one of the front legs. The back mounted with an engraved brass presentation plaque. 31½'' (80 cm) high, 22½'' (57 cm) wide.
