SCULPTURE / FIGURATIVE KORO: TOBA RIDING HIS DONKEY, Asia, unmarked, dark patinated cast metal (probably bronze). Full-sculptured figure of the scholar Toba (also called Su Shi) riding his mule, holding a ruyi sceptre in his left hand. Figure of Toba removable - head and back with small opening. Probably used as an incense burner. H. ca. 15,5 x l. 17,5 x w. 6,5 cm. (Patina rubbed, neck and mane with small opening).SKULPTUR / FIGÜRLICHER KORO: TOBA AUF SEINEM ESEL REITEND, Asien, ungemarkt, dunkel patinierter Metallguss (wohl Bronze). Vollplastische Figur des Gelehrten Toba (auch Su Shi genannt) auf seinem Maultier reitend, in seiner Linken ein Ruyi-Zepter halten. Figur des Toba abnehmbar – Kopf und Rücken mit kleiner Öffnung. Vermutlich Nutzung als Räuchergefäß möglich. H. ca. 15,5 x L. 17,5 x B. 6,5 cm. (Patina berieben, Hals und Mähne mit kleiner Öffnung).
