拍品描述:青白玉质，立体圆雕辟邪兽蹲伏作虎行之姿。头似虎首，顶有双角，双目炯炯，卷曲眉毛，张嘴露齿，表情威猛。右前足伸踏，左前足弯折，双翼自前肢上部伸展，紧贴于身，长尾分叉，充满动感。可作陈设，亦可为纸镇使用。 《汉书．西域传》记载：「一角者，或为天禄，两角者，或为辟邪。」相传古之君王神殿前，两边均有辟邪护卫在侧，能避除邪恶、招财，东汉时颇为流行。小型者以玉制作，成为汉代人心目中的祥瑞之兽，至六朝风行不减。本件辟邪造形浑厚，刀工犀利，工匠运刀如笔，线条流畅。其面部表情、动态姿势，成功地表现辟邪警觉性的起身探索及威赫瞬间，为少见之六朝玉雕珍品。 A RARE PALE CELADON JADE MYTHICAL BEAST SIX DYNASTIES
