The exterior surface of this vessel is a true masterpiece, meticulously adorned with intricate designs featuring various animals, hunters on horseback, and fine vegetal and floral motifs. This vessel could have been used for storing and serving liquids, or perhaps as an ornamental piece used to display wealth and status. Islamic metalworking has a long and rich history, dating back to the 7th century when the religion was founded.
