说明：如意尺寸较大，长逾一尺，为整块青白玉雕就，其色质均匀，温润晶莹，是为佳料。如意头作菱花造型，表面用浅浮雕，刻一篆文“寿”字，旁侧以八吉祥环绕。如意柄三弯式，正面亦作浮雕八吉祥为饰，间刻“吉祥如意”四字。 清宫之中，自乾隆平定准噶尔诸部以后，新疆玉料供应充足，故玉器制作甚为繁盛，亦多见大料整雕之器。如本品这般整料雕成，装饰吉祥纹样的如意，亦是清宫治玉的标准器型。 此件如意正中浮雕“寿”字，且上下满刻佛教八宝纹样，寓意吉祥，可推测为当时宫中祝寿所作之贺礼。其琢制细腻，铲地整饬，细节亦纤巧典雅，应出于苏州工匠之手。
