说明：和田白玉质地，局部微带红沁。童子呈侧首跪卧状，圆头鼓脑，梭形眼，鼻梁高挺，咧嘴微笑。其伏身于一绣球之上，回首观望，双手持芭蕉叶遮覆于头上，憨态可掬。童子绣球是清代玉雕常用的吉祥题材，寓意“前程锦绣”，颇受欢迎。此件白玉童子绣球用料上佳，体态匀称，表情惬意，雕琢细腻传神，惟妙惟肖，实为乾隆玉作之精工良作。
