说明：此漆盒呈长方形，体型较大，造型大方。器身四边线条过渡自然，下承长方形圈足。漆盒以木为胎，外壁通体髹朱红漆，四壁及盖面描金彩绘。漆盒盖面饰缠枝莲纹环绕轮、螺、伞、幢、花、罐、鱼、结，即佛教中的“八吉祥”纹，器身饰缠枝莲和宝相花纹，诸纹以金漆和彩漆勾填描绘，在暗红朱漆的印衬下显得极为突出。此漆盒油亮光润，朱漆文雅，金漆艳丽，构图饱满紧致，装饰繁缛富丽，尽显雍容华丽之气质。此件盖盒无论工艺、造型还是纹饰上，都极具乾隆时期填漆的特点。 相类器型，可参照北京故宫藏品，见于故宫博物院藏文物珍品大系《清代漆器》第212页。 参阅：北京故宫博物院藏清乾隆 彩漆描金莲托八宝长方盒（附图1）。
