A pair of large famille rose dishes with figures, Yongzheng period, 1723-1735, China, D 31.5 cm, The border with screens and three flower-filled cartouches on an underglaze blue ground. The centre with two standing ladies in a garden. Marked with a double circle in underglaze blue. One plate with a bruise to the standing rim (see close-up photo). No hairlines or chips and no restoration. Some wear from age and use.
