A famille verte teapot with arch-handle and floral pattern, Kangxi period, ca. 1700, China, H 17.5 cm, L 13 cm (including spout), Provenance: Property of a Dutch noble family. The arch handle with a reeded pattern, the body and lid of an elongated quatrefoil form and decorated with four panels with florals and two with birds. Not marked. A fine hairline running along the base at the front part of the teapot. Some glaze chipping/fritting. No restoration.
