A THANGKA OF VAISHRAVANA, 19TH CENTURYTibet. Distemper on cloth, with a silk frame and mounted as a hanging scroll with wood handles. The God of Prosperity and Guardian of the North is depicted in a seated position on a white snow lion (vahana), with his left hand holding a mongoose (nakula) and his right hand holding a victory banner (dhvaja), numerous other deities are surrounding him. Condition: Overall good condition with wear, soiling, and tiny losses. Provenance: Croatian Private collection. Dimensions: Image size 41.5 x 32.5 cm, size incl. mounting 80 x 59 cm
