A BLUE AND WHITE ‘BUDDHIST LION’ PORCELAIN BOWL, KANGXI MARK AND POSSIBLY OF THE PERIODChina, Qing dynasty (1644-1912), possibly Kangxi period (1662-1722). The deep rounded sides supported by a short ring foot, finely painted in underglaze blue, the interior depicting a Buddhist lion underneath a pine tree enclosed by a double circle, the rim with a geometric band. The exterior adorned with four pine trees. The base bearing a six-character Kangxi reign mark, possibly of the period.Condition: Very good condition with minimal surface wear. Provenance: Estate of Wolfgang Zacke (1942-2022), co-founder of Galerie Zacke, thence by descent. Weight: 480.3 g Dimensions: Diameter 19.8 cm
