A LARGE DEHUA BLANC DE CHINE PORCELAIN FIGURE OF GUANYINChina, Qing Dynasty (1644-1912). Seated in dhyanasana on a lotus throne with lotus stems, buds, and leaves, rising from swirling waves, her hands in anjali mudra, dressed in long robes and flowing scarves, with a serene facial expression, wearing an elaborate crown centered around a depiction of Amitabha Buddha. The lower back of the figure with Dehua marks.Condition: Surface wear, a chip to one of the edges of the robe, some lotus buds of the base broken or missing, the head has been reattached and shows several repaired breakages.
