A SKY-BLUE GLAZED ‘CHILONG’ VASE, c. 1920sChina, Qing Dynasty (1644-1912) to Republic period (1912-1949). Of ovoid form, the body covered overall with a sky-blue glaze, the rim applied with a fierce sinuous chilong dragon, with its mouth agape revealing its fangs and tongue. The base with an apocryphal six-character Yongzheng mark.Condition: Very good condition with minor surface wear, and some firing irregularities. Provenance: Hungarian private collection, acquired from a Swiss collector.Weight: 685 g Dimensions: Height 18.2 cm
