AN INDIAN BRONZE FIGURE OF BHUDEVI, 19th CENTURYIndia, 19th century. The Goddess standing in tribhanga on a lotus base set on a rectangular pedestal, dressed in a low-waisted dhoti, adorned with jewelry, with a serene facial expression, almond shaped eyes, a benevolent smile, and her hair piled into conical jatamutaka. Condition: Very good condition with minor traces of wear and age, light surface scratches, small nicks here and there, and areas of malachite encrustations. Provenance: Hungarian private collection.
