A WESTERN ASIATIC STYLE OPENWORK SILVER PENDANT WITH BIRDSStyle of the ancient Western Asiatic region yet dating to the 19th – 20th century. Cast in openwork with two birds facing each other, the wings spread wide, the foot and beaks joining. With a loop above the beaks for suspension. Alloy composition analysis: Silver 87.7% purity. The pendant was tested by the Zelnik István Southeast Asian Gold Museum.Condition: Very good condition with minor traces of wear and casting flaws. Provenance: The collection of The Zelnik István Southeast Asian Gold Museum. Institutional art collection in Belgium, acquired from the above.
