此壶紫泥制成，泥质细腻光润，呈折腰宫灯式。器身制作规矩周整。三弯流，耳形圈把，平溜肩蜿蜒转折，高颈，立柱壶钮，虽通体光素无纹，仅用线条来体现。此类茗壶往往对作者的制壶技艺是个十分大的挑战，所谓失之毫厘谬以千里。全器整体不但制作严谨，且将其气宇轩昂韵味展露无遗。
