王炳龙，济南人。生于1940年，卒于1999年，享年60岁。50年代师从段黎民先生，后又得关友声先生培养。1966年毕业于中央美术学院中国画系。后又师从李苦禅为入室弟子，得其心传口授，又受王雪涛、郭味蕖、田世光等教诲，其学兄范曾先生对其艺事也有很大影响。从传统大写意及西洋绘画中吸取营养，逐步形成个人风格。擅写意画鸟。生前为国家一级美术师，山东画院高级画师，济南市美术家协会理事，济南画院艺术委员会主任兼济南画院副院长、专业画家、济南市美协副主席。
