瓶呈四方委角形，口微撇，长颈，直腹，四方委角外撇圈足。瓶底施松石绿釉。瓶外通体霁蓝釉描金装饰，瓶腹四面均有长方形留白开光，其内以粉彩分别绘花鸟图案，瓶足内施松石绿釉，外底署青花楷书“乾隆御制”四字款。此器造型为方形委角，成型工艺复杂，烧造难度颇大。开光内图案设色淡雅，与霁蓝釉描金地形成鲜明的对照，相得益彰。
