AN IMPERIAL INDIGO-BLUE GLASS MALLET VASE, GUANGXU MARK AND OF THE PERIOD
China, 1875-1908. Of translucent deep blue glass, the color of a magnificent intensity which at the time could only be achieved the Imperial glassworks, the body of beehive-domed form rising to a slender cylindrical neck, the slightly recessed base with a wheel-cut four-character mark Guangxu nianzhi and of the period.


Provenance:
From a noted private collection in Bavaria, Germany.

Condition:
Very good condition with old wear and expected manufacturing irregularities, such as bubbles and swirls in the glass, and minor irregularities around the neck, light scratches here and there. The form slightly uneven overall.

中國，1875-1908年。花瓶色澤明亮，高貴的藍寶色色透明料，頸部呈細長圓柱形，邊緣筆直。圈足內凹，四字“光緒年製”款。
