此组杯托共五件，木胎，底髹黑漆，余部髹朱漆，并以描金工艺入饰。作浅盘状，六瓣葵口，中央隆起，内设凹槽，以固定杯盏之用。器壁饰缠枝花卉纹，内底随形开光内饰凤凰牡丹纹，隆起部分巧施覆莲纹，似莲台宝座，中央凹槽饰寿字纹，寓意吉祥。
描金漆就是在单色漆地上加描花纹的工艺，其中黑漆、朱漆较为常见。此组作品器型大方而兼具华美之感，饱满而不失灵动。纹饰精细，兼实用性、观赏性于一身。
