吴湖帆（1894-1968）江苏苏州人。初名翼燕，字遹骏，后更名万，字东庄，又名倩，别署丑簃，号倩庵，书画署名湖帆。现代绘画大师，书画鉴定家。早年与溥儒被称为"南吴北溥"，后与吴子深、吴待秋、冯超然、在画坛有"三吴一冯"之称。善于画没骨荷花。作为一位集绘画、鉴赏、收藏于一身的显赫人物，他的成就是多方面的，可以说代表了中国绘画史上的一种现象。甲午冬，吴湖帆。吴湖帆印
