是书为八旗军政规章之书。本拍品存石部卷一，收列公式之规章二十一条，丝部卷二，收列仓库、田宅之规章四十四条。凡新增和新改规章皆用黄绫浮签标出。检册中所载年款信息，推测此册约写于乾隆四十八年（1783）。
《中枢政考》始修于顺治年间。此后约十年一修。（见冯尔康《清史史料》）此书为研究清代特别是清代早期军政提供了重要的资料。
