剑身锻造精细，钢色清亮，有部分包浆。剑刃并未开锋，为文房所用。剑身两面均蚀刻有铭文，一侧为“香宇 王桂澐 制”，另一侧为“十三年岁 甲子八月 寿”。护手为铜制，经手工捶擛、雕刻有牡丹纹饰，工艺细腻。剑柄为木质纺锤形，外包鱼皮，保存较为完好，柄首为如意形，亦有牡丹纹饰。剑鞘为木胎，通体包裹鱼皮。鞘装均为铜制，其鞘口、鞘箍、鞘尾正面浮雕牡丹纹饰，剑箍背面阴刻牡丹纹。前两枚鞘箍上带挂环，供悬挂佩戴时使用。此剑订制于民国十三年（1924年），应为贺寿之用，蕴含有赠剑之人的美好祝福。全长111厘米。
