18k yellow gold (750/-), stamped. Marks and jeweller's marks B&S. 2 round cabochon-cut rock crystals, diameter circa 1.4 cm. 2 round mother of pearl slices, diameter circa 1.4 cm. Colourful enamel. Top: diameter circa 1.5 cm, post length: circa 1.7 cm. Circa 13.2 g. The rock crystal paintings on each cufflink (Essex Crystal), done using the reverse glass painting technique, feature a greyish-white fish (pike). The rounded, transparent rock crystal cover creates a three-dimensional effect.
