18K yellow gold and platinum, tested. 72 diamonds in various cuts: including old and octagonal cuts, altogether circa 3.30 carats, TCR (I-J), SI-P1. 1 round white cultured pearl, diameter circa 6.1 mm, 1 cultured pearl drop, circa 10.11 x 8.84 mm, pale cream, flawless, very good lustre. Circa 5.5 x 4.4 cm. Circa 16.4 g. Technical execution: the brooch has been made by hand with delicate settings decorated in Millegriff technique. Simple pin fastening to the reverse, with security chain and loop for attaching to a necklace to wear as a pendant. A fine, elegant example from the early days of the Art Deco era, although, showing clear influences from historicism and Art Nouveau.
