7th-5th century BC. A bronze plano convex pendant with eight lobes and suspension loop to the top enclosing a scaraboid engraved to the underside with hieroglyphics. 6.79 grams, 21mm (3/4"). From a private collection of seals and amulets, the property of a Canadian gentleman living in London; from his father's collection formed in the late 1960s to 1980s. Fine condition.
