A bronze mirror of lobed outline with round-section spike handle, central boss; the surface with repoussé designs retouched with a graver comprising a central rosette and herringbone borders, guilloche surrounding and undulating serpents with radiating ivy-leaf motifs. From the private collection of a North West London lady; previously with a central London gallery; formerly acquired before 1990. Fine condition; edge chipped, superficial encrustation.
