A ceramic figurine of a goddess, possibly Demeter, standing upon a square base, wearing a himation draped to the front, and tall polos headdress; right hand held to the chest, pierced to the hand; flat to the reverse. 110.4 grams, 15.3cm (6"). Property of a North London gentleman; formerly the property of a Cambridgeshire gentleman. Fine condition; repaired.
