A silver finger ring comprising a hexagonal-profile hoop with leaf-shaped shoulders, rectangular plaque with concentric beaded wire collars, inset sheet gold mount with repoussé motif of clasped hands. Cf. Ruseva-Slokoska, L. Roman Jewellery, Sofia, 1991, item 187. 14.30 grams, 27.58mm overall, 20.95mm internal diameter (approximate size British U, USA 10, Europe 22.52, Japan 21) (1"). From the collection of a European gentleman living in South London; acquired 1970-1980. Very fine condition. A large wearable size.
