1st-2nd century AD. A bronze steelyard comprising a square-section shank with knop finial, loop finial; to the lower face, a loop attaching a chain with two suspension hooks to the end, and a second similar with one hook, above a short single-link and suspension hook, to the end a yoke with two short suspension chains. 228 grams, shank: 23cm (9").
