Rus, 9th-11th century AD. A flat-section bronze penannular bracelet with rounded ends, two bands of punched saltires framing incised linear motifs and a ring of punched dashes. Cf. Sedov, B.B. Finno-Ugri i Balti v Epokhi Srednevekovija, Moscow, 1987, pl.II(24"). 38 grams, 60mm (2 1/2"). Property of a European collector; acquired from from his grandfather's collection; by descent 1986.
