A silver ring comprising a D-section hoop with notched ribs to the shoulders, cotton reel bezel with notched edges, parcel gilt upper face with central hexafoil and concentric rings of punched petals. Cf. Chadour, A.B. Rings. The Alice and Louis Koch Collection, volume I, Leeds, 1994, item 628 for type. 20.32 grams, 31.10mm overall, 20.01mm internal diameter (approximate size British S, USA 9 1/4, Europe 20.38, Japan 19) (1 1/4"). From the collection of a European gentleman living in South London; acquired 1970-1980. Very fine condition. A large wearable size.
