A gold ring comprising a hoop of seven ellipsoid cabochon garnets in cells, with bezel formed as a cross with two further ellipsoid cabochon garnet arms, central garnet cabochon and interstitial pearl seed beads. 3.69 grams, 21mm overall, 15.75mm internal diameter (approximate size British J 1/2, USA 5, Europe 9.32, Japan 9) (3/4"). Property of a Richmond gentleman; part of his family collection formed before 1980; thence by descent. Very fine condition.
