The rectangular Jade plaque depicted a scholar and attendants in traverse toward humble pavilion nestled between dense trees and rockworks in a mountainous landscape. The alternate side, with gilt over waterside landscape motif carving within key fret borders. Mounted on carved hardwood frame stand, formed by two steady scrolled feet, from which raised vertical posts flanked on either side with open-work spandrels in scrolling lotus twigs motif. The Elaborately carved wooden frame stand perfectly accentuates this work of art. The carving works are of gorgeous proportion, with a beautiful translucent appearance, creating a three dimensional view.
