IMPECCABLE, Chinese Ming Dynasty Jiajing reign period Wucai porcelain lidded round fruit box. Porcelain box stoutly potted unto a slightly flattened round box, with correspondence dome lid, raised from rounded sides over a broad wide cavetto. The top surface decorated in Wucai design hand painting in five opaque color pigment with centralized yellow-red Longevity "Shou", surrounded by variegate fruits abundant and Scared Lingzhi fungus. The drawing was superb contrasting the clean white background. Similar design encircled all the side and the lower body ordered with banded of double fine cobalt blue rings on both rim. The clay is very fine, with a brilliant finish that was applied by a meticulous glaze, the shape is uniformly proportioned. The porcelain conformed all required specimen to be high valued Chinese porcelain wares, with finest material, the whiteness, the glaze, the carving, and the shape. Without overlap the outlines of the design, well carved, clear, subtle, and distinct.The under base bear a reign mark, six under-glazed blue script characters reign mark, enclosed by double fine rings, Made in The Years of Jiajing Reign Period of Great Ming Dynasty.
