Chinese Qing Dynasty famille rose & gilt outlines porcelain bowl. With simply gently rounded side emerging steeply to a slightly everted rim, raised on the concave footed ring base. The exterior hand-painted in Famille rose of Bajixiang, the Eight Buddhist Emblems, enclosed within floral motif cartouches, with double iron-red fine lines banded along the foot base, central belly, and upper mouth rim. Trimmed with gilt overglaze bands on paintings, both outer rims and foot ring base. The clay is very fine, with a brilliant finish that was applied by a meticulous glaze, the shape is uniformly proportioned.The composition is sophisticated and the colors are a feast for the eye.The under-base bears a reign mark, a two red underglaze red seal script Manchurian characters, enclosed within double square frames.
