官帽椅属中大型规格，出头平切式。搭脑曲线柔和，变化于微妙之间。S形三弯靠背板，以黄花梨山水纹为饰，不再增加雕刻等装饰。后腿C形后弯。扶手蜿蜒而出，联邦棍、鹅脖亦是如此。鹅脖退后安装，与扶手间装以角牙固定。软屉，冰盘沿浑圆，素混面双压边线式。一般四出头官帽椅腿足多为外圆内方并加设券口牙板，此对椅子别出机杼，圆腿足，四腿间装以高拱罗锅枨，颇为空灵。腿间下方设前后低赶枨。前方踏枨下设细小罗锅枨相抵。四出头官帽椅一直是甚受收藏家青睐的品种，黄花梨制者存世量并不算多，能够成对者更加不易。
