Description

此件壁瓶以碧玉和精铜为主要材料加工制成。主体瓶身以碧玉掏堂琢制，呈凸面平背的葫芦形，胸腹之表分别嵌饰一白玉琢制的圆底阳雕“大”“吉”楷书二字。葫芦平背后以铜为材錾铸束锦及几形背托，飘带飞扬，规矩中透露着灵动。在清乾隆一朝，以葫芦造型制器者甚多，葫芦多子，寓意子孙繁衍昌盛，在明清时期广为流行。各种形式嵌装“大吉”二字，不仅以葫芦谐音表达了“福禄”之美意，更以“大吉”表达了人们对和谐生活的美好寄托与希望，也蕴含繁荣昌盛国泰民安的意思。
